Ferplast Atlas Car 80

Having logged onto your website and looked at the Ferplast Car 80, I then reviewed the comments by a previous purchaser. The carrier looked sturdy enough to house my working cocker spaniel and so I ordered it. I ordered late on a Monday evening and the carrier arrived in perfect condition at 9.15am on the Friday morning. I am absolutely delighted with it as it secures a very active 9-month old cocker in the boot of my car with room for a bag or two as well. The carrier washes out easily and is extremely light to carry.
Thank you Ferplast and also Emerson's Pet Centre for stocking such a useful piece of kit and I would highly recommend this carrier to anyone with a medium sized, active spaniel!!

Ferplast Atlas Car 80

I was considering buying one of the purpose built cages but grudged paying upwards of £250 for one. I happened to see an Atlas Car 80 for sale on E-bay, so I decided to seek one out via a search engine. I eventually came upon www.petcentreonline.co.uk and looked through all the info. available. I took measurements of the space available in my car.(Suzuki Grand Vitara)Only enough room for the Atlas 80. Would that one be ok. for my dog, (Cocker Spaniel) puppy and growing. Sent an e-mail to pet centre and got prompt reply. Ok. it will fit my car and my dog, but will it be robust enough for general use. I pondered over buying a cage for under £60 delivered, and buying a cage costing four times more, plus delivery. I was happy with my Ferplast dog carrier that I bought to carry the pup about in. Yes go for it. I placed the order and two days later the cage arrived in component form. Unpacked the box, it looked bigger than I had imagined it would be. Easy to assemble. Looked quite substantial. Will this really fit into my car? I let the pup play, jump in and out of cage, great fun. Now for the moment of truth, yes it fits car ok. Put the dog in the cage and went for a run. We have had the cage for 2 weeks now and I am really glad that I bought it. It is pretty strong, yet lightweight, a child could lift it in and out of the car (minus dog of course) It has no sharp edges and does not rattle. The handles are ideally placed and it has two handy compartments on the top for storage.
As far as I am concerned it is brilliant. By the way the used one on E-bay sold for more than I paid for a new one delivered to my door.
